i think you're in the minority on that one

jeff george got shots at QB jobs when he had proven he sucked, was an a-hole, and wouldn't learn an offense solely because his arm was so strong/accurate. he was just a bad QB

This is true, and his armstrength would have been even more evident if he wouldn't have sacrificed a little zip for a really quick release.

IMHO Marino had the stronger arm. However in terms of mechanics and form/technique George was superior (and may have been the best ever).
