UNC has a rich recent history of losing to I ranked teams while being the early #1 team in the country. And every time they regroup and make a deep run. Pretty sure they did it in 05, too.

Those teams were full of NBA players. Roy is Les. He only wins with outstanding talent. Now college basketball is abysmal this year and there is no talent anywhere, so they may do better than the past few years. But there are very few NBA players on the UNC team.

Louisville is really good. They just clobbered a solid North Florida team that returned pretty much all of an NCAA team from last year and is considered to be one of those dark horse mid-majors (and also beat Illinois at Illinois last week).
I don't get why they're not in the top 20 right now. I think the Powell situation maybe has some voters keeping them hanging? I don't get that one. They're way better than everyone from 15 to 25.

Cuz they theoretically lost their three best players from last year.
But its Louisville and Pitino. So its like Mich St. It shouldnt matter who they lose. They will always be a top program with a great coach
