quote:

Meggs believes that Johnson initiated the contact with the woman, and that the woman was acting in self-defense. She will face no charges.

“A person’s entitled to use self-defense if they’re being battered by someone else, and she certainly was entitled to do what she did,” Meggs said. “She didn’t commit a crime is the reason she’s not charged with a crime.”

Good thing prosecutors do't decide guilt or innocence.

Good talk.

And Johhny Cochran said OJ was innocent. If I had to bet, I would say Johnsons attorney will say she did commit a crime. Shocking I know

Not to agree or disagree with the Prosecutor, but when did Prosecutors get to be the ultimate fact finder in the legal system?

They're both guilty of something.

Yeh. My dad is an attorney, and when i was 25 he explained to me that lawyers on both sides will say things that help their case. I was astonished!

Well it looks like they most certainly do get to decide innocence. I'm pretty sure she's not getting charged, because the video shows the QB forcing his way into her.

The district attorney will take on cases that they think they can win. The prosecutor is then assigned. I mean is their any functioning human in the world that expected the prosecutor to say anything differently

It appears that you are unfamiliar with the basics of our adversarial criminal justice system.

The fact that you just quoted this as having conclusive weight makes me feel a great deal of empathy for your future offspring and a great deal of hope that you never produce any. The prosecutor is an advocate for his client. What you fullblownretardingly posted as being legally meaningful carries no more legal significance than the quote from Johnson's lawyer from an article that I'm sure is coming soon.
