Yeah good point about red zone. I am mainly referring to Thursday, SNF and MNF when there are no other options.
I watch sundays one of two ways -- either red zone if I don't care about any of the teams playing, or if there are several good games at once, I will tape a few -- watch one, flip to the other at commercial and flip to the other at commericial. Much easier to watch to fast forward that way and skip the BS

Have y'all noticed the split screen commercials? Where they are keeping the huddling and what not on the side while they show you a commercial in an effort to cut down on stoppages. I feel like it has helped

I didn't watch last night. Do they do it for stand alone games? I feel they did it plenty during the Sunday afternoon games to maybe keep folks from flipping channels so easily

NFL coaches don't do anything interesting since it is basically a 3 year job for all but a handful. College coaches have to deal with such talent and match up disadvantages that they have to be creative.

I don't think anyone who watched A&M at UCLA will see a more exciting football game in the NFL regular season. In the NFL teams rarely fall apart. Momentum doesn't swing as drastically or immediately. Your unknown backup NFL QB can't come in and explode in a game or turn a season around. CFB is more volatile and emotional which makes it less predictable. Sure there is a huge talent gap, but I'm not sure that matters.

Right?! It's so hard being intelligent. I couldn't even enjoy USC/Stanford last week because of atrocious o-line play. Week 1 my buddies were going crazy watching UCLA make one of the greatest comebacks in CFB history and I was all whoa guys slow down have you seen how bad the gap integrity has been by the aggie defense in the second half? Terribly undisciplined. It ruined my night.

I wouldn't watch many nfl games at all if it weren't for fantasy football. Constant pass interference penalties have really messed up the game.

This may sound ridiculous, but the NFL is almost too polished. It is produced through the roof. Most teams are running the same offense with varying levels of QB skill. CFB would have the same problem if there were only 32 teams and 16 games a week, but I can find a plethora of different styles on any given Saturday.
The NFL spits out a relatively uniform product while CFB allows me to basically take it in a la carte.

Although the Super Bowl last season was as exciting as the college football championship.
Week in, week out, I definitely enjoy watching NCAAFB more than the NFL.

This is likely due to the volume and accessibility of CFB vs NFL.
Think about the first two rounds of March Madness.
I have access to dozens of games at any time on Saturday seemingly where on Sunday, unless I have red zone or pirate it, I'm litimited to two games at noon, two games at 3, and one game at night.
