Definitely should've been called a safety. His momentum didn't carry him 7+ yards into the endzone. Idiotic play by the intercepting defender and it should've cost his team a title.

By time he was able to turn around his momentum had taken him to the goal line.. Touchback is the safe and defensible call as the player gave him self up and made no attempt to advance.

Man, that is really iffy. I can see the call go either way. However, I would lean towards safety given that the player began to run around.
