Yep. If the Spurs don't choke, they could afford to lose Kawhi for games 2 and 3. Stick a fork in them now.

Smart move by Pop. He knows the Spurs are toast this series with or without Kawhi so why risk his long term injury health

I may be misinterpreting what you're saying, but the Spurs absolutely had a shot in this series. You don't go up 20 on that team unless you have a shot.
I'm so aggravated by this injury. I really thought the Spurs would be able to take them to six or seven games. Maybe we'd actually get to see a good series for a change. Oh well
