I could Herman at UT when Charlie bombs. Would be a good hire for them but they'll never do it cause he's not a name brand.

Those clowns in Austin need to realize that they do better when they hire someone that has ties to Texas and conference.

Fumble?!?!?

Texas needs a guy who understands the politics of the UIL and understands how Texas as a state operates.

It's a regional base and recruiting with a somewhat national reach.

Yeah but they are Texas and Texas gets what Texas wants

I was seriously scared they'd hire CM tbh, but I belive he's a good Ag and would have said no.

If I was the HC at Texas the first thing I do is send a guy to the following districts

Lake Travis
Skyline
Katy
Southlake

If I was Morris I'd have an assistant at Plano South Oakcliff and Skyline 24/7/365

I have seen more blatant holding than I've ever seen in a game...and it simply isn't being called.

Is this normal in the AAC?

No different than any other NCAA game. It's the way pass pro is taught.

Every game the same thing happens. Start out hot go to half no adjustments can't block get rolled.

Nah, these were ridiculous. Each one was squarely at the point of attack in the play, not away from the play. Granted, I'm in an out of this game and I only noticed it during UH's drives.

It's not normal, and it has influenced this game.

Haha... Watching UH roll now, and the SMU line isn't even challenging to cause a holding call.

That was awful effort the last three plays.

Happens every week. I can't figure out why they seem to have no effort after half.

It's not the D though that fails. It's the O goes 3 and out multiple times in a row.

I get that team speed and depth is awful, but it's like no adjustments at half work or none are made.

It's probably a depth thing, when you run an offense like that it takes some serious conditioning and CM ain't had time to get them there.

That's why he needs to go heavy on the D. You got guys on the team that have run this style for years.

But just philosophy difference between me and them.

I think if they give him the patience they gave Bennett he will get them turned around.

If June wasn't so lazy the last two years, they are competitive. Now they're cooked as soon as second ends. Big Improvement from last year when they didn't get first downs until the 4th ate though.

What a play for the back door cover

Think they just went over though.

I agree that play was huge

It killed the under, but I had a larger bet on the +25.5 than the under so I wanted the cover more.

This is honestly all June Jones's fault. As others have said, no depth turns to second half disaster. By the first half performances, you can tell Morris puts the players in position to be competitive.

The horrible onside kick may kill the cover now.

I think Herman mercy knees though.
