Would be funny to watch him go to the Dolphins, Jets, or Bills just to see him get two chances a year for his crazy arse mojo to take out a Pats player.

Pollard is one of my favorite players for this reason

The Ravens are an old team whose window was closing. They'd been on the cusp of the title for almost a decade, but could never break through until last year. This is not the Beginning of a New Era, but the end of the old one. There was talk the Ravens needed to start the rebuild before last season, and now its past time, especially with the expected inflation for all players now that they've won a ring.
It's a lot easier to swallow a rebuild in the wake of a title. I knew this day was coming, and I'm a lot more comfortable with it given the Ravens have a title to make the short term pain worth it.
Also, the defense had been mediocre to bad last season. Why pay top dollar to hold together a below average unit? The only guy I'm really ticked about losing is Kruger, but that's how free agency goes.

The Patriots better be doing everything they can to sign this guy before he kills another one of their players.
