No because they will rest guys and they will probably have some sort of injury plagued stretch.

Some how they managed to basically have none last year, so I seriously doubt that happens again this year.

I do think it is has been a nice friendly reminder to all the people who doubted their championship run last year because of all the other team's injuries. This team is really fricking good.

They just have a pretty mediocre 17.2 net rating right now.

Agreed. The Bulls would crush them.

one injury away from under 65.

Only if that injury is to Curry. Their rotation and depth is just absurd

Today's NBA values rest a lot and I don't think this team and Kerr are sacrificing a possible repeat to get a regular season record. At least I hope not.

The NBA is also a lot deeper than those Bulls' opposition.

I agree with you, but they already won a title last year, why not got for history this year?

they won't win 73 and break the Bulls' record bc they don't need to... you can't keep this pace up for a full season anyway unless you have MJ and Scottie, but everyone talking up Cleveland before the season has had an effect on them

Well the thread says "> 72" so they'll have to win 8 more games than last year. Also they would be trumping the best effort, by the best player in history's squad he ever had (Jordan's 95-96 team).

You want to try that math again.

All I know is that Bulls team would DESTROY this Warriors team in a series.

I hate comparing teams from different eras, because of how much is different, but I actually completely disagree.

That Bulls team didn't have some sort of dominant front court to really pound the Warriors like Cleveland tried to do. Jordan would go HAM every night, but a 3 is still worth 50% more than a 2. None of the team's knew that back then. They'd be shooting they're midranged jumpers, feeling good, and all the sudden look-up to find they're down on the scoreboard.

The "best year ever" coincided with an expansion year so those 72 wins in the east in an expansion year isn't as impressive as 68+ wins in the West in any other year over the last two decades.

If they do, be prepared for hundreds of threads from the Dukke V's of the world saying the 1995-1996 Bulls would still destroy them.

ETA: So I hadn't read more than the first few posts originally, but now I see the idiots are already out in full force.

It is hard to make a more ignorant statement than this. Bravo, A+ for effort.

Oops.

Nonetheless, a 6 game jump is a big one when you're trying to best a 67 win season.

Possible if they don't suffer any injuries. I happen to think they'll get nicked up and drop a few though.
