If you notice any of the Playstation Vue commercials that are being played on college football games, there is a huge thread on the Tech Board about it.

As a subscriber, it enabled me to completely eliminate cable TV and get rid of the damn cable box. I get access to:

FOX
ABC
NBC
CBS
Big Ten Network (4 channels)
ESPN
ESPN2
ESPN News
ESPNU
WatchESPN/ESPN3
Fox Sports Southwest
FS1
FS2
Golf Channel
Longhorn Network
NBC Sports Network
NFL Network
SEC Network
NFL Redzone - (extra subscription)
NFL Sunday Ticket (extra subscription)

I also get TBS and TNT, plus about 55 more channels.

I can watch on up to FIVE of any combination of the following:

mobile devices:

iPad
iPhone
Andoid
Fire Tablets

I can watch on the following media players:

FireTV
FireTV Stick
Roku
Chromecast

And, of course, Playstation 3 and 4.

Cost: $45 a month. Cancel at any time. It's worth it in case anyone was curious.

You don't need a playstation. I use my roku stick ($50).

How does the DVR work? Is it cloud based?

This is an incredible value by Sony. Hopefully they advertise the hell out of this and make dents in comcasts user base

Yes. Your shows are saved automatically to the cloud, but are only available for 28 days. There is no limit on the number of shows you can have recorded.

Can use Amazon (buy the TV bc Vue blows on Firestick) and Roku

but we dont get locals yet. (mandeville) it is a min behind which kinda sucks for football.

Who is your internet service provider? You still have to pay for Internet on top of this.

Biggest issue for me is not getting Thunder games or I would have already done it.

The stick is just 'okay', if you ask me. I have both the FireTV and the stick.

Also, now that it's come to the Android operating platform, I tested it out of the house. No go. It's not like Sling where you can use it anywhere. You have to be on your home network. In Dallas, we get all the major networks, except live ABC. I get that using OTA antenna. However, I can also use WatchESPN if I wanted to to watch any ABC game, since it will also be on WatchESMN.

Yes, I also need Internet service. I pay $45 a month for 100Mbps, which is plenty for five of these devices to run at the same time.

I switched to PS Vue from Sling TV a couple of months ago. I agree, it's definitely worth it.

Have to have History. Do you get channels from the Roku plus the Vue?
