Lost 3 of 4 to the Spurs this year, including back-to-back games at season's end when we were positioning for that 2 seed.

Spilt with the Clippers.

Spurs are obviously tough in the playoffs and are smarter and better coached than everyone else in the league, but they're older and the Rockets have athletes. Parker is banged up. But still, they're the Spurs.

Chris Paul against our PGs is always tough, now especially without Bevs. Their defense is mediocre and depth is weak though with guys like Austin Rivers and Hedo Torkuglo playing semi-regularly. Hack Howard? Then hack Deandre.

Either way, hopefully Spurs-Clips go 7.

I think they'd rather see the Clippers, just because.

They won't beat either, though.

I'd rather play LA. They won't want to do the hack a Howard stuff.

Yea, both are tough matchups for the Rockets, but give me the Clippers all day. The Spurs experience and coaching worry the shite out of me in the playoffs.

I want to play and beat the best team available. Period.

This team is special and I am keeping the faith.

I don't know... the Clippers have a really athletic front court, which gives the Rockets problems when they can't out-athletic guys down low.

However, the Spurs are the Spurs.

Match-up wise, they both have drawbacks. The Clippers don't have a wing stopper like Kawhi Leonard but their bigs can keep Harden out of the paint.

I can't decide.

I'm pretty pumped how everyone is still downplaying this Houston team. Dwight is the best center in the league the way he is playing. And James Harden had an MVP season. And we have some seriously clutch role players.

Our half court defense is nasty. The Hack-a-Smith/Howard doesn't scare me.

I'm really not.

Like I said, the Rockets have gotten better from last year and they are legitimately a good team.

But they are not special, at least in terms of NBA history or anything. And they probably wouldn't beat either the Clippers or the Spurs.

ETA: They are a good team

If I'm the Rockets, the easy answer is the Clippers.

Their bench is very frail.

The Spurs will beat them in 5 or 6. Put Kawhi on Harden and it's over.
