Here's the scenario:

You get to pick any 5 players from the history of the NFL, but the rest of your roster is the 2008 winless Detroit Lions.

You need to win at least 10 games or you're fired.

What players do you take?

Lawrence Taylor
Aaron Rodgers
Ogden
Randy Moss
Calvin Johnson

I'm sure I could come up with a better list if I spent more than about 30 seconds on it, but with Rodgers/Megatron/Moss...good luck stopping that passing game.

Left Tackle : Tyron Smith, Dallas

Right Tackle: Jack Conklin, Tennessee

Left Guard: Kelechi Osemele, Oakland

Right Guard: Zack Martin, Dallas

Center: Travis Frederick, Dallas

Lions had a good receiving corp.

Keeping in mind that Calvin Johnson was already on that team,

Rodgers
Gronk
Watt
Lawrence Taylor
Deion

You get a great QB, a passing game that can hurt you in the middle and on the perimeter, a hellacious pass rush from the edge and the interior, and a shutdown corner.

Rodgers
Gronk
Moss
LT
Reggie White

So I get Rodgers throwing to Gronk/Moss/Megatron. DOn't care about my secondary with LT and Reggie White, we'll get all the pressure needed rushing 4.

1. Peyton Manning - gets rid of the ball quickly. Could really help Roy Williams and mike Furrey be solid complements to Calvin Johnson

2. Larry Allen- teams with Backus to provide a solid left side of the offensive line

3. Reggie White - provides a help to a pass rush opposite a rotation of Cliff Avril and Dewayne White

4. Rod Woodson - spends time at both CB and S as needed.

5. Deion Sanders - shutdown CB who can also provide a boost to special team by returning punts and kicks.
