This is the latest tally that I've seen. Chavira is the swing vote and is yet to speak.

Weiers – no
Knaack – yes
Martinez – yes
Alvarez – no
Sherwood – yes
Chavira – ??
Hugh – no

Sounds like Chavira is a yes which would keep the Coyotes in Glendale.

Yep. Hopefully Seattle can get an expansion team along with an NBA expansion team in a couple of years.

Is a owner lined up to buy the team?

Seattle and QC will have a team in a few years almost guaranteed IMO.

Especially if league revenue continues to climb.

If this vote didn't pass, there were owners already lined up to buy the team and move them to Seattle.

That's what everyone has been saying, so hopefully it's true. It would have been nice for the NHL to get here this year to build a fan base and have a good team to cheer for. An expansion team will be a longer climb.

With the realignment, adding 2 teams seems pretty possible

Actually its kinda of sad that they denied a bill to get more fire trucks but going ahead with a hockey team? Oh Glendale, you reap what you sow, just remember that.
