The Denver Post is now reporting that it's a strain versus torn quad.

That's more like it. A torn quad would have been just madness.

Never tore or strained a quad. But I'm damn sure tore my hamstring before as well as my left pec and bicep. Not fun

Always easy to pick the non athletes out. A pulled quad makes walking difficult. An actual tear severely affects any athletic movement.

I played college baseball, but thanks. I am aware a pulled quad makes walking difficult I am just not familiar with how much your lower body affects throwing velocity.

Are you serious about this? I never played college anything, but I know how much the lower body is needed for every kind of throw.

I had a hip flexor strain which bruising ran down to my knee. It hurts a lot its like having a constant stiff leg. I rehabbed very hard to get it back to where I could at least do minimum sports but I am still rehabbing it to get my strength back. Leg injuries are no joke.

anybody playing baseball and not familiar with how much the lower body affects throwing velocity must have been a DH and always been a DH.

yea, figured he had to be hurt.

The way he was throwing was definitely not just "fatigue".

Serious question, can your quad cause you to not be able to put velocity on the ball?

Do you know what a quad is? Serious question
