Nah, the defense showed a certain look and the way they practice is that when the punt team sees this look, they automatically audible to a fake. That's why he said he should've called it off

Ah, I got ya. I misunderstood his comments.

Seatlle is scary good right now. Pete should apologize after he loses the last game they play.

It was a great film study, because from the defensive line up it didn't look like it would work.

It's a non-issue. It wasn't like Pete was being a douche to run it up. Sounds like special teams are pretty well coached.

I hate when people get pissed about going for two or trying fakes when you're already blowing a team out. When will you get a chance to try those in live action? If it fails so what, you're up big. If not it gives you confidence you can do it in a situation where you'll really need to

Also, I believe for a young team like Seattle there's a physiological advantage to be gained from beating the shite out of people week in and week out. We'll see how good they play this Sunday in a big game, but they're really scary right now

They are professionals so they should not have their feelings hurt, but what he did was unsportsmanlike however.

The guy is a D-bag, so I would expect nothing less from him. Stupid time to call a fake punt, could have used it in the future when needed, but now everyone will be watching out for it.

If the Redskins win the NFC East. Shanahan wins it.

Are you guys kidding? Pete Carroll or mike Shannahan over Bruce Arians? You realize the Colts are probably going to finish 10-6? That their actual head coach missed most of the season with leukemia and they started a rookie on what was one of the worst teams in memory?

This guy stepped in and took one of the weakest teams in the league to the playoffs. What more do you want?
