So you're saying people from San Diego enjoy the HUGE economic boost that Comic Con brings? Makes sense. Sorry Chargers.

And anymore, it's really branched out into movies and TV. Chances are if you're an average joe that watches TV you can find something entertaining at Comic Con.

Plus most everyone in San Diego was not born there and much prefer their home team over the Chargers.

So they are using a poll that only had 3000 voters in a city of 1.3 million. Yeah not legit

it's called "statistics" ...

Living here, even without seeing this poll, I would of told you Comic-Con is way more important then the Chargers. Out of all of the places that I've lived, San Diego easily has the largest group of bandwagon fans, out of any sport. If they fail to start the season 3-1 or better, 75% of the fan base disappears and the blackouts start rolling.
Comic-con, on the other hand, is hyped for weeks in advance. The city is already planning on spending a ridiculous amount of money to expand the convention center to keep Comic-Con happy (less then it would take to build a new stadium, or even refurbish the dump that is Qualcomm, mind you). While not as large, Comic-con takes over San Diego the way Mardi Gras takes over New Orleans.
TLDR: Chargers fans are terrible, no surprise San Diego is showing the team the door

I say let the city vote one election. Pick what you want to keep.
