Pennant success rates of the MLB

Sometimes I'm bored so I do things like this because I find them interesting. I pulled information from MLB's website to compare the success of each MLB franchise adjusted for how many years they have existed.
How often each team wins a pennant:
1. Yankees--2.78 years (40 in 111 years)
2. Dodgers--6.19 years (21 in 130 years)
3. Cardinals--6.95 years (19 in 132 years)
4. Athletics--7.53 years (15 in 113 years)
5. Braves--8.41 years (17 in 143 years)
6. Red Sox--8.69 years (13 in 113 years)

Either the Cubs are 2-14 World Series play or you're counting years prior to the existence of the World Series. I don't think they have had that many World Series, I seem to remember the 100th World Series was like ten or so years ago.

Yeah, the Cubs (and other teams) won several 'pennants' prior to the World Series existing, which started in 1903.

There have only been 110 World Series, over 112 seasons of it existing (1904 and 1994 didn't happen) so any team with more seasons in existence than 112 should be adjusted accordingly.
