Penalties need to be included in challengeable plays, especially PI

Week after week more and more horrible PI calls handing out huge chunks of free yards with no repercussions towards the terrible refs.

I don't see why coaches couldn't challenge penalties and get them overturned just like any other play.

The game would be unbelievably slow if we challenged penalties.

You still only get 2-3 challenges, how would it extend it any more?

HD television and replays are the Pandora's box of the NFL. They have led to an unreal expectation of officials and are ruining the game with reviews. So much stoppage of play.

Again, how would there be additional stoppage of play? You have the same amount of challenges.

THIS. Belicheck has lobbied for years that EVERYTHING should be reviewable. It doesn't slow the game up and it helps curb the refs fricking up game changing calls

Panthers got 3 chickenshit TDs out of 3 DPIs in the end zone on long passes. At least 1 was legit, but that's not the point. Giving the offense 1st and 10 on the 1 because the DB was trying to make a legitimate play (not taking the WR out b/c he was beat) is getting ridiculous and unacceptable at this point. It's part of a team's offensive strategy now to chuck a jump ball 50 yards downfield and take your chances with DPI, and/or deliberately underthrow a bomb by 10 yards so the DB with blanket coverage can't do ANYTHING but run up the arse of the WR.

The CFL has challenges for PI and it does not slow them down

Considering you're only allowed a set number of challenges, I'd say you're wrong.
