I know what you meant. Union Parish residents will be quick to correct anyone who says Paul is from Grambling or Monroe. I wish he and Elijah had played for the Demons, would have bent those Aggies and Crusaders down the road over for a decade, in basketball at least.

Pay the man! One of the quiet superstars who grinds it out each game. Well deserved and happy for Paul!

It is a risky proposition to pay a guy already in his 30's a 30+ mil per year contract. That contract is going to destroy a team towards the back end -- it will be untradeable once he is 35.

Also I thought to get the 5/200 type deal you had to be named to an All-NBA team? I thought I remembered reading this from the Hayward/George speculation but I might be misremembering the new rule

PM is older than those players. The amount of time in the league is a difference maker when it comes to how much guys can earn.

millsap probably a little old for me to be psyched about that type of contract but holy frick is he good. i have no issue calling him the most underrated player in the league.

man if I could pick a 40mil landing spot Denver is way up there with Minn. Blow your load on either young core for 5 years of 40 mil Milsaps.

Millsap is making $20 million in 2016-2017 deal

solid starter. not quite premier.

if your 8th grade boy plays football. baseball and hoops, and he's only marginally better at football or baseball, hoops is the only right answer.

Popularity will rise but the downfall of cable will lead to a massive drop off in revenue once the current tv deals expire. For all sports really

It will be for US based TV leagues; internationally, Basketball is kicking the dog out of everyone else-- and in the NBA, teams have only recently gained the ability to sell their local rites, to add another revenue stream to it all.

Football and baseball will live and die with the fortunes of ESPN; the NBA will not.

Millsap must be a grinder. His freshman year of HS he was a bean pole. When I was at Tech he'd be at the intramural center shooting in the late evenings. He's got raw talent but he's definitely worked his arse off.
