Did you read his entire post or only those 6 or 7 words.

Did you watch the game or just the 4th qtr?

Correct me if I'm wrong but LeBron only 10 pts until pretty late in the 3rd qtr. That's pretty good defense against the best player in the world.

He did Lester....

Did LBJ take over in the 2nd half of the 4th? Yes. But that doesnt mean that George didnt play him great for 3 and a half quarters.

But, to your point, Pacers were -1 with George on the floor. But he played 43 minutes and had a horrible night on the offensive end. Considering how many minutes he played and how bad he played on offense, and still only be -1 with him on the floor for majority of the game, that means he did very well on the defensive end. Lance Stephenson played great last night, but his +/- was 0.

LBJ only had 10pts in the first 3 quarters. And finished with 22pts. Which is still below average for him.

But to say that the Pacers would have won without Paul George last night is just ignorant.

Sorry for him.. But it really doesn't matter... The Pacers will be VERY lucky to even win ONE more game in this series..........

because the Heat shot 50% as a team (including LEbron, 9-18...including Wade who shot 62%)

define great defense for me again... and you want to talk about ignorant

LeBron was trying to facilitate more last night, but took over when it was necessary. It's what a great teammate does.

I know what they shot.

But holding LBJ to 10pts through 3 quarters is playing great D against him. And 22pts / 50% is well below his averages this year.

I'm not saying he shut LBJ down or anything like that. But George was as good as you can be guarding Lebron James.

And this whole thing started with you saying the Pacers would have won last night without George. And that's just not true at all.

Sabi, he had 6 assists... Which is about average for LBJ.

Assists are completed once the basket is made. He was trying to facilitate. Players missed the pass, miscommunication, missed shots, etc.

George had no blocks or steals and a relatively horrible game offensively. Why even bring up his defense when Lebron was shooting like 50% from the field the whole game?
