He's more than likely being traded because of his outspokenness from last season. That's not going to fly with the majority of HC in the NFL. Unless you are a elite QB.

He's always been outspoken. That's not the issues.
They may not want to pay a 30 year old CB $15M+ plus. Rather not lose him for nothing, so now is the time to inquire about a trade. This is age related.
And to the person that said he ducks withould earl...you're an idiot. Watch film. Sherman has improved every year, under different coordinators that run slightly different systems within their cover 3 shell. He has proven he can play both sides, follow receivers and play incredible man coverage. He's the real dela

The reason he can play man coverage which is actually easier for cornerbacks is because Earl Thomas can cover the entire middle of the field
