If that jacket isn't bedazzled, then you have failed as a parent.

I got a letterman jacket but told my parents I didn't want a class ring. They ended up getting me one when I graduated from LSU instead

My parents insisted I get a class ring for high school and college and assured me I would appreciate it one day. I don't think either have left their little box since the day I got them, and I'm almost 40 now. Maybe my grandkids will think they're cool

Coaches gave us all our patches and the Home Economics teachers made sure they were sewn on. This was mid 2000’s

The school has the bars. Ask the AD if you can get the ones you’re missing.

The company that the jackets are ordered from should be able to assist you in getting whatever you need.

Not sure who it is:

Balfour, Jostens, Jackson Bayou Boys, Recognition, Neff, to name a few...

Sophomore is the best year in high school.

Your son couldn’t catch my son to fight him. Foot or car.

Sending an email to the AD in the morning…

Yeah, seems quite odd to entrust him with the operation of something that weighs over a ton, but not to ask his coaches questions about his jacket.

Make your kid learn to find out things for himself or he will be useless later in life.

Will be interesting to see if he letters in baseball, but I’m not waiting for that.

As opposed to when I was in high school many years back, doesn't just about everyone on the team get a letter these days?

This^^^

Also, what is going on in the Bay that your kid keeps getting new football coaches?

Tough school to coach at. Not really a great demographic for football.

Previous coach quit coaching football all together, went to work a normal job. This one quit after one year to go coach closer to home.

We had a QB transfer in last year, one and done, from Mexico City and he was an absolute baller. Team went 9 and 2 and won district. He could have coached here for a dozen more years and never repeated that record. He probably jumped everyone in his area for a head coaching job…would be my guess.

When my son started football in 7th grade there were 12 kids on the team, 14 in 8th…only 7 of those boys played as Freshman. Tough to build a team with classes like that.

I got on their website and saw the custom patches…I get the feeling they do not visit my son’s small school though.

Get him all the patches, that way all the potential bullies know what a fricking Chad he is at every sport.

He should have 8 letters in 5 different sports by the end of his Jr yr…thinking of maybe just sticking with the one letter and the bars. The big state patches look like shite. Maybe I can purchase smaller ones to commemorate the same thing.

We’ll see what the AD says.

No shite. I’m sure the AD read my email twice and moved it to trash…
