On a side note for the N LA peeps, can anyone remember a Parkway kid coming to LSU before now? I sure can't.

Hell no. They had a kid named Jarvis Larry who played baseball for ULL. That's the only legit D-1 player I can think of out of Parkway.

and they also had alot of 10th and 11th graders leave

Why'd they leave? This Evangel 2.0? Sounds eerily familiar.

Not sure, just know that some did. They all left and went to other schools....

Nah, I'm pretty sure it's nothing like that.

Gotcha. They've got a nice campus over there at Calvary and I've heard nothing but good things about them. It surprised me when I read that they had multiple ayers leave.

The Harris kid is special. Easy to see why everybody in America wants him. Kid has a cannon!! I was also extremely impressed with the McAtee kid. Seemed like every time he touched it, he wound up in the end zone. The 2 that got called back were highlight reel worthy. How does he not touch more often???

I also knew Brett. Great guy. Didn't know Brian as well, but heard great things and was very nice the few times I was around him.

Had no idea this dude was at Parkway now. He coached at Many High School when I was there in the late 90's. He's pretty legit.

Looks like a good team that's going to have a tough time in the playoffs with no home games. Could be a 8-2 to 10-0 team traveling every week.

Helps a while lot when you are able to pull kids out of Bossier High's district via majority to minority transfers.

How does this work? I didn't know that non-private schools could 'poach' players across district lines like that (if that's what you'd call it).
Doesn't Parkway get all/most of the Barksdale kids as well?

You can transfer from any school where your race is in the majority to any school where your race is in the minority. It's called an M-M transfer. It's why Harris plays for Parkway but lives in Bossier High's district. I believe you can no longer transfer via an M-M transfer and be eligible to play LHSAA sports, starting this year.

No clue.

Kids from Barksdale can choose what school they want to go to. In years past, they went to Bossier.

David Feaster has coached winning football at every school he's been in Louisiana. He knows his football and he's a great guy on top of it. I'm proud to call him a friend.
