If that was a homer opinion I would have said 28. I'm sure several non-homers will easily tell you Curtis by more than 14.

Just watched the replays on Hudl. There is no way it was a fumble. Clearly caused by him hitting the ground. And yeah #3 was behind the play, neither camera angle fully captured what happened. Just going by what he said, that an official took him out. If so, it would have been the umpire. My bad on that.

Anyone that thinks the holding was equally egregious needs to watch the replay. If there were still tear away jerseys, 8 would have gone through a ton of them.

No point in quibbling about the officials, we played well enough that it didn't matter. It was a very physical game, I'm guessing there are some sore kids all over town today.

I do want to note a couple of classy moves by the PBS coaches. During the postgame handshakes, Coach Guillot pulled my son out of the line and congratulated him on having a great game. And while we were talking with him on the field afterwards, one of their assistant coaches walked out into the middle of the celebration to tell him how glad he was not having to draw up blocking schemes to try and keep him out of the backfield, and wishing us well against Curtis. Both those little acts of kindness made his night, and if anyone reading this talks to them, I hope they thank them.

Mr b if u didn't see the holding u wernt looking, wasn't as obvious but it was there.

3 plays after fumble it was 35-16. Ref doesn't take ball 28-23...

Big problem for lhsaa with split is officiating crews

More playoff games. Not enough good refs

If u high can keep 7 vertical, they have a shot.

Problem is guys chasing him and chasing his weapons won't be playing both ways.

With qb back. JC can better utilize 15.

that's the one angle i've not heard anyone talk about...

just like teams will be in the dome that shouldn't be there (like Hannan), there will be a ref crew or two that will be there but shouldn't (unless the top crew in the state does 9 games in one weekend)

Owl. I have had 4 coaches beg me to get back into it recently and that was the gripe they had.

The problem is not Friday night it's all the other crap that keeps people like me away....

Plus when I first came to BR a guy looked at the games I worked the year before....
3 Curtis, 3 shaw, 2 rummel 1 hc.. Nevermindvthe opponents.

Guy flat out told me it would be YEARS before I worked games like that.... I hung up my whistle

Modern what fun is it if nobody you play can't line up and beat you, a lot of folks at PBS were sad to see what happened at redemptorist

On that fumble I did see a rare move by two officials. Vthey were clearly upset with the guy that took the ball...t

Blown calls happen as official no whistle u don't even take the ball if the kid TRIES TO give it to you, nor do you tell him what to do!

I bet that guy is a great soccer or basketball official

after the bad call on a fumble that awarded PBS the ball that wasn't a fumble, they ran a reverse pass that we intercepted on our own 8 yard line. We then had a 5-6 play drive that ended on a 4th down we failed to get and PBS got the ball back. They then had a 5-6 play drive that ended on a failed 4th down near mid field. We then scored 3 plays later on a 7 to 11 deep ball. So no, in no way was it a 14 point swing.
