Green Bay Packers interim head coach Joe Philbin has fired linebackers coach Winston Moss.
The team announced the news Tuesday evening. “We thank Winston for his contributions to the Packers over the past 13 years,” Philbin said in the statement. “We hope the best for Winston and his family moving forward.”

So now they will use philbin to fire anyone else that Rodgers wants and then they can get rid of philbin. Brilliant scapegoat strategy

Was Philbin the Head Coach at Miami? When incognito went nutz?

He was also the associate head coach. Why keep him around when the head coach you were an associate to was fired

ETA: All bias aside on my part, have any lower level coach call out their HOF QB and see how long they last.

Am I missing something with that tweet? Him saying that the next coach should be a strong leader that will hold everybody accountable is somehow controversial and a criticism of Rodgers? Weak

He wasn't a HOF QB but the Buffalo Bills fired HOF GM Bill Polian who built their four Super Bowl teams because he couldn't get along with their team treasurer Jeff Littman.

what does this have to do with Rodgers? He has no say in this you can tell most of you people are 10x more insufferable than Rodgers could ever dream of being. Hating someone you barely know at all. I feel bad for you

That wasn't the only reason. He had completely changed over the past year for some reason. Really became an a-hole and it sounds like things weren't great in the locker room. Not to mention, the LB play has been average at best.

If this isn't fricking awkward

That was my impression too. I'm sure he knew exactly what message he was sending when he tweeted that and knew exactly what would happen. And let's be honest, he was on borrowed time anyways. Once a knew HC was hired, I'd imagine the associate HC from the previous regime wouldn't make the cut.
