How do the Pacers right the ship for the future? They are done for this year. Big picture, how do they fix it?
I mean is it Vogel? I dont think so, but at the same time hes the coach and cant seem to fix it. Keep him? Fire him?
Do they trade a lot of players? Do they clean house?
I would keep George, Stephenson, West, Mahinmi, Turner, Watson, and Copeland. Free up a LOT of cap space by dishing Hibbert and George Hill and cutting a lot of the fat off the books. Hill has a $40m contract and Hibbert has a $58m dollar contract. Acquire draft picks, get a PG like Elfrid Payton. Sign a C like Gortat.
I mean the biggest thing is that nobody really knows whose fault it is, if its anyones fault, who deserves the blame, etc.

Stephenson is a f/a I believe. I'd let him walk and get a real shooter next to George. He's a solid player but he's not a compliment to George and someone will overpay him.

Yea but thats if they could sign a 2 guard. And if you can dish Hibbert and Hill , that alone leaves you $99m in cap space. Add in some other bench guys, that would give you around $110m.
I just like the fit for Stephenson with Indiana. They could keep him and still go sign a good shooter.
IMO, their biggest need by FAR is the PG spot. Hill is 1 of the worst starting PGs in the NBA. They need someone that can drive and create.

they can't walk, they're under contract. and that's not quite how ppl quantify cap space. it's usually what those contracts are worth on that particular yr.
Hill has 3 yrs left on his deal at 8 per, he'll be really hard to trade. he's got decent shooting numbers, but Teague is making his defense look nonexistent.
Hibbert has 2 left, but not sure who'll want him at that number. at best he's a sulker, at worst he might be a cancer.

He thought he was sending nut shots to a girl, but a dude ended up with them. People said he was catfished by the dude, but he said he knows the girl and that she apparently gave them to the gay dude.
