The Pacers had home court advantage until they lost tonight. If they win one in MIA, as MIA did in IND, then they will take back home court.

That game 7 at home is a huge advantage.

Alright just checking, you kind of agreed earlier when 87 said you were neutral on Lebron.
I'm neutral in the sense that I don't cheers for him or his team ever.

But I'm absolutely a fan of his game, a fan of greatness mainly, so Yea I'm pro lebron in that sense, no doubt.

I like Lebron but he is not the GOAT.

Top seed gets home court all the way through as long as they keep advancing with a 2-2-3 format.

That's how I'd do it. The way it is now, if you steal one of the first two the odds that you'll win the next 3 are much higher. I'm just not crazy about that 3 for the road team in the middle.

What's the point of being a fan of a guy if you don't cheer for him? I have to ask, just seems strange.

Yeah the Pacers can get it back but I think it's stupid to let the series determine it rather than seeding.
seeding doesn't determine home-court?

5-2 advantage seems extreme. How could a 1 seed not advance to the Finals with that kind of advantage?

you can be pro or a fan of or cheer for or whatever the hell you want and still be level headed when discussing things.

I feel like shel does a good job of it. Especially on such a polarizing topic.

It is currently a 2-2-1-1-1

Lower seed doesn't get a 3 game home stretch at any point.

It's 2-3-2 format in the finals only I believe. It's not 5 games to 2

I just like watching him play.

No different than with Chris Paul, I like his game just as much.

Durant too though I don't get to see his games as often. Same for Paul now that he's in LA.

It should be 2-2-1-1-1
They changed it to 2-3-2 because the home team had more of an advantage.

More games=more money

No, I get that and I'll agree he normally does a good job. That's not really my question.

They changed that beginning this season. Finals are back to 2-2-1-1-1 again...as they should be.
