What makes them worse? Serious question.

Grown men screaming profanities at my family (with little children), flipping us off, being rude and awful everywhere we went. This includes a fricking art museum. They couldn't stop being assholes when we were at an art museum.

The national championship was 12 years ago and they've been dismal in "big" games (you know, the ones that matter like BCS games) since 2003. So yeah, I can understand why they wouldn't be super excited.

They have been consistently been among the top 3-5 programs in the country throughout Stoops' tenure.

But not to this degree.

When I was in NOLA in January, I partied with LSU fans. Same thing in T-town last year. Even Bama and Auburn fans have joint tailgates at the IB.

This sort of thing was completely impossible with Texas fans.

You're in for a treat if Alabama ever schedules a home and home with Ohio State.

I've heard tales. The Michigan fans weren't great, but nothing too awful. The Penn State fans (this was before Pedogate) were awesome. They were the best.

I'm not sure if any of our resident Texas fans made it to the Shoe in 2005. If they did, they may have some interesting stories for you.

Oklahoma has done fairly well for themselves in the BCS era. They've won the Big 12 Conference title 7 times since Stoops has been there and have a national title to boot. Alabama, Florida, and LSU are the only three programs in the BCS era with multiple BCS titles so there's no harm there in the fact that OU only has one. They've also been to the actual national championship game more times than any other school (2000, 2003, 2004, 2008).

He's still one of the best coaches in college football. They would be crazy to run him off. Who out there is a more proven winner than he is?

It will be damn near impossible to fire a man who has done the following in 176 games:

1. 141-35 record (80.1%)
2. 84-22 in Big XII play (79.2%)
3. 8/13 AP top ten finishes (2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008, 2010)
4. 11/13 AP top twenty five finishes (only seasons not ranked are 1999 and 2009)
5. 8 BCS bowl game appearances (2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010)
6. 7 Big XII titles (2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010)
8. 8-5 versus Texas (all 8 wins came against ranked Texas teams)
9. 10-3 in Bedlam (5/10 wins came against ranked Oklahoma State teams)
10. 12 first round picks
11. Two Heisman Trophy winners (Jason White - 2003, Sam Bradford - 2008)
12. Five Heisman Trophy finalists (Josh Heupel - 2000, Jason White - 2003 and 2004, Adrian Peterson - 2004, Sam Bradford - 2008)
13. Other major awards (19): 2004 Maxwell, 2000 Walter Camp, 2001 Butkus, 2003 Butkus, 2001 Nagurski, 2003 Nagurski, 2003 Bednarik, 2003 O'Brien, 2004 O'Brien, 2008 O'Brien, 2004 Unitas, 2000 Thorpe, 2003 Thorpe, 2003 Lombardi, 2004 Outland, 2000 AP POTY, 2003 AP POTY, 2008 AP POTY
14. 23 consensus all-Americans

I honestly think one of the biggest problems is that damn QB Landry Jones. I honestly think the mentality of this team can change when he is gone. What a wuss that guy is and he has no leadership skills.

Those inbreds in OK need to get a grip and realize they aren't going to dominate like the Switzer years and 100 scholarship days. Take your one title every couple of decades and be happy

Really Didn't Texas go from 1970 to 2005 waiting on a Title.

Only 12 first round picks in 12 years? I thought he'd have more. Not to toot Bama's horn but we've had 11 in just 5 years.

Eh. Ohio State fans were nothing to talk about. A ton of them showed up for the National title game in NO but it's not like they were aggressive or terrible.
