Then someone could at least find a photo that clearly shows a foot on the ground. But a still photo proves nothing.

I just heard a great point about this on the radio. Basically the point was calling in is horseshite because certain players get significantly more coverage than others, so they're at a greater risk of having a televised penalty.

Again, a still picture where you can barely see the ball proves nothing, but with how the players were moving toward the sideline, it's a tough call in real time. Also, the monitor the replay official had was not HD, so it'd be hard for him to overturn it.

I agree that it was probably a catch, but I hate how people use still photos as if they are proof.
