OSU fans - what is your expected recruiting class finish?

247 Composite team score for OSU is already at 300, a benchmark that only elite classes ever hit (8 total 300 point classes since 2010- most of them Alabama) and currently at just 17 commits. You're also the heavy crystal ball leader for the number 1 CB in the country. What kind of finish do you expect? This could be the GOAT class on paper.

And I hate OSU

ETA: Lowest ranked commit right now for the class (besides the Kicker) is a 4 star OLB ranked in the top 300 overall absurd

They'll finish with an incredible class. #1 CB from Cali (Darnay Holmes) is also trending to them now. Unreal.

We lead for Darnay Holmes and Jeffrey Okudah is basically a lock.

If we get either Jay Tuefele (#4 DT) or Marvin Wilson, I might be the best class ever, especially if it's Wilson.

6 consensus Five-stars right now is pretty remarkable.

Just adding these two and rounding a class out to 25 commits, if just 3 stars, would probably be enough for best class ever (point wise on 247 composite at least)

It's insane.

UGA still has a couple 4* targets left we feel good about and we could end up with the best recruiting class we've ever had in our history...and still wont' even sniff the top 2 this year behind bama and OSU. Both of their classes could be all-time level elite.

Meyer building a bama type machine, if he pulls out a national championship this year he's well on his way to goat status.

The issue with getting the most total points is we aren't going to be able to take 25 guys, probably only 21-22.

Your average star rating is ridiculous, despite whatever the overall score ends up.

I think currently UGA is actually sitting at #2 with average player ranking (since we have several less commits than bama), but even having a comparable number of commits as OSU yalls is head and shoulders better.

Didn't realize this. Otherwise it would basically be a lock at this point with 300 points at 17 commits already.

Well, we have a pretty good class at LSU right now, but no chance at top 3 because of all three of you

It depends who goes pro and transfers.

We could lose 8 or so guys to the draft a year early

crappy feeling huh

Ultimately that's irrelevant, filling your class needs and getting some studs is more important, but as a fan you still want to see that low number next to your recruiting class. Bama and OSU gotta go and ruin it for the rest of us ha

They've quite honestly been there since 2014.

I am pretty convinced they were the best team in the country last year and would have kicked everyone's arse in the playoff. We played three of the final top four in last year's poll, and OSU was far and away the best team we played of those three. The draft just confirmed it for me.

I think those things tend to even out over time (i.e., OSU didn't get one last year that they probably should have gotten but got one in 2002 that they probably shouldn't have; Bama got one last year that they probably shouldn't have but will probably miss out on one here soon that they probably should have), so it's not a big deal, but that OSU team was a monster.

The DB talent will just be silly if we land Holmes and Okudah along with Wade.

Yeah last years team was unbelievable, but never hit their stride. Seems like Urban is just reloading each year like Saban. Those teams resemble a Kentucky or Duke in basketball where they lose a ton of studs but it doesn't matter because of the next class.

Darnay Holmes chose UCLA, Bubba Bolden to USC.

The top CB and top 10 overall player Jeffrey Okudah chose Ohio State.

That's 7 5 stars in the class based on the 247 composite. Average of an unheard of 95.93 per recruit. 308.94 total points with on 18 recruits. Just 2 points behind Bama and their 26 players.

I really want Marvin Wilson to finish this class off.

This will be the last big recruiting haul Meyer gets, as the coaching staff is breaking down and looking weak. The new hires are not inspiring. Wilson the player abuser? Seriously, get real.

Also, 1992 Nebraska, abbreviated NB, signing class called. They laughed at this OSU class.

We already have the #1 QB for 2018 and are the leader or favorite of 20+ top 100 players
