No, and early in the day so drinking is highly unlikely.
Just speeding in a sports car like a young kid, probably having fun/impressing the GF.
Nothing left of that car, obviously very high speed crash.

His first homer in the rain is the one of the most incredible images I have seen in sports.
It is a shame he is going to be the Len Bias of baseball. As a Cubs fan, I always wanted him to be a bust, but this blows.

You are correct. Their traffic laws are very lax. Nobody ever comes to a complete stop at stop signs. Just kind of slow down a bit and merge. Their Hwys are typically 2 or 3 lanes and the vehicles are seldom in lanes as we know them. Remember driving there in my rental and an old junker car or truck would be behind me but half in the lane I was in and half in next lane over. The cars in front of me were spread all over like that as well. Throw in the YZ125s with 3.....yes,3 grown men riding on one bike and it was nerve wracking. In the mornings, the 3rd guy on the back of the bike was usually carrying a cage with a parrot or a monkey. They go to all those AIs in Bavarro/Punta Cana to charge 5-10$ so the redneck tourists can have a photo with a monkey.
