I've been seeing that thrown around. Some people think it's just reflective material. Either way, it doesn't really matter since the game is played with either the sun or a ton of lights beaming down.

My thoughts as well.

Now if they got some nightvision visors(if applicable), turned off the lights, gave us a glow football and made it look like TRON I'd be interested.

If I had to guess it would be for Halloween. Probably see a few of them since it falls on a Saturday this year.

Yeah. "Glow in the dark" is really a misnomer. It's most likely the reflective materials.

This sounds like it could be a disaster. It also sounds like something I'd pay to see live .

I wish Oregon would just stick with these. They are badass. But the constant jersey changes are tacky and forces everyone else to adopt tacky uniforms too.

If it's highly reflective, somebody will propose banning it in 3...2....1

would be better if they just put LED lit numbers and lettering. at least you'd be able to see it better.

they should be banned.

seriously, they should be tested for awhile and if they interfere with the other teams vision they may need to ban them. they might be distracting.

Tell that to Auburn and Alabama...we seem to be doing just fine without them
