Now you know why I have such a beef with tOSU being ranked in the Top 5.

During this big Urban "win streak" from last year - We STILL have no idea how good tSOU is...and may not...until the BCS Title game.

tOSU never had to play a BCS Bowl game last year - so we could see how this Urban Meyer version of Ohio State measures up against the best.

We don't know because of the sanctions. And the perception is toward - they aren't good enough and given tOSU's recent history - nobody is going to give them the benefit of the doubt - very few want to see them matched up against the SEC's best...ugh, been there - done that enough. What a middle finger to the neutral public that would be.

tOSU may go two years w/o playing a real contender until the ultimate game.

That's not fair to all the other contenders. That's Boise State pathetic. Gearing up for one game...in going on a long undefeated run.

FSU. The same team that gave up 34 to BC. Miami and Clemson will torch them

I agree, but we don't know how good the PAC 12 is either then. Stanford only beat an 8-5 Wisky team by 7 in the Rose Bowl. K-State had serious flaws that a bad Big 12 couldn't exploit, but not many of us were sold on them.

This is why I have a beef with Stanford and Oregon being in the top 10!!!

Seriously I don't have a problem with either of those teams being there, but there is a lot of circular logic in CFB.

"you can't use last years results for this year!" If OSU was allowed to play in the post season last year, and beat ND for the title, OSU would be in the driver's seat again. Fairly or not.

The argument is going to be that Stanford Oregon UCLA and Washington are really good. The problem is that who have they really beaten THIS YEAR to prove that?

Edit: And I'm not bashing you in any way; just kind of Catch 22 for OSU right now

Before the injuries, Georgia belongs on that list more than Alabama. But, not anymore.

Something I find interesting is Oregon's kickoff times in regards to the "East Coast bias".

After this weekend, Oregon will have played 6 games, only 1 of which kicked off after 5:30 EST. Granted, one of those games was on the East Coast. But still, the media (networks) is making sure to get Oregon on times when most of the East Coast is still awake. Last year as a comparison, Oregon played 4 of their first 6 kicking off at 10:30 EST.

Edit to keep it on discussion, Oregon is without a doubt number 2, behind Bama.

FSU is definitely top 8 in my book but 1 or 2? I don't see it. FSU has only played 1 ranked team.

you ragged on Bama's and UF's schedule yet you think FSU played a decent one. As I said before, you are easily impressed.

Pitt
Nevada
Bethune Cookman
BC
Maryland

All shite. Bama's win over A&M trumps all of those combined, and even VT is way better than any of those teams.

Keep posting though. Eventually you may challenge VerlanderBeast as champion of dumbassery on the MSB. And I definitely want you to post when that "vaunted" FSU D gets destroyed by Clemson. Even Florida's horrific O last year ran all over FSU when they had better a better D line.

You mean their recent history that has them winning the last two BCS bowl games they played including a dominant win against mighty Oregon?

who are you hanging your hat on moron? Pitt? BC? Maryland? Or is it Bethune Cookman? You truly are stupid.

Didn't you bring out combined records before? Well VT is 5-1. Derp

Answer the question. Which team on FSU's schedule is so impressive so far?

At this point, who gives a shite? We've seen 5/6 games on each team. There is a reason the BCS standing haven't come out yet. I want to see what Oregon does this weekend.

I agree it's too early.

I just had to call out SabiDojo's stupidity regarding "an FSU team that can shut you out on D" when the week before they give up 34 points to a lousy BC team.
