Only angry, racist people, black and white are making this about race. Seriously since when is a black guy being the best player on a Super Bowl team a new thing? I haven't met or seen a regular person care at all but it seems like the agenda is getting pushed anyway. I feel like the media and the public just pushes the craziest opinions to the forefront and makes them seem common when they're not

My favorite is the white guys in Facebook going overboard posting the memes showing white players celebrating = "energetic" and then Cam celebrating = "thug".
The guys I know that have posted this are just trying to show their black friends that they aren't racist. Pansy arse mother frickers.

What i love, after hearing SO much about how the Oscars is racist for not nominating more black actors.... Cam gets 48/50 votes, but that doesn't matter to anyone.
People will still bitch and complain that he doesn't get ENOUGH respect or whatever.

The truth is that it is very much about race. Had the Panthers had a white quarterback, we wouldn't have been so quick to forget how homophobic he and his teammates are.

I'll be honest. Before I started hearing people talking about how Cam Newton was disliked because he was black, I didn't even realize he was disliked. I'm still not really sure that he is.
