I think it was the right call. Complete a 10 yard out and your 10 yards closer for the FG. Complete a TD and the game is over. 9 seconds is an eternity in football as long as you don't take a sack or throw an interception. Bad decision by Bo, but the correct call by Freeze, IMO

The kicker with his delay of game fricked things up

that wasn't the kicker's fault, that was on the coaches.

But after that, running one more play was the correct call IMO.

It wasn't a dumb call. It was a dumb pass.

If Bo passes to the end zone where only his man can catch it, it's a can't-lose play that gives you a chance to win the game. Worst case scenario (provided Bo did what he was supposed to), they'd by kicking the FG with :02 left.

Instead, he made a terrible pass that lost them the game. The one thing you can't do in that situation.

This wasnt the same as the auburn play.

Not even close
the playcall was basically exactly the same. The execution was not.

I think most people agree that a quick pass to the sideline was a good call. But, what Wallace did, was one of the most retarded decisions by a QB I've ever seen. The bitch basically just lobbed it up hoping for the best.

It was no different than Miles against Auburn a few years back.

The Grand Theft Auburn game? Not that bad a decision. The receiver in the end zone was double covered so Jamarcus checked down to a guy on th3 5 yard line and hoped he could beat his man. Didn't work but not a horrible decision.

Freeze froze and didn't sent the FG unit out for the 42-yarder until under 20 seconds were left on the play clock. Delay

The decision to send Wallace back out there was awful, as was Bo's throw.

Agreed. Hell, in 5 wide with all the safeties deep, 9 seconds is plenty of time for Wallace to take off and get 7 or 8 yards and step out of bounds. Get something. Out of everything that could have happened, that was the absolute worst case scenario...you expect your experienced players to be a little smarter than that. That being said, I can't think of someone I'd rather watch fail more than Bo Wallace.

47 yards is a lot. and CFB kicker suck, you have to at least try to get a few more yards

I think Ole Miss has a good kicker though. And the original kick was only for 42 yards.

Think they meant 2007 when DByrd made the TD catch with 1 second left

The delay of game was on Freeze. The INT was on Bo. That WR probably never thought the ball would come his way. It's a quick out route or you throw it away. Bo fricked up.

That 47 yarder would have been a career long.

The Flynn play was like a 20 yard pass. Much less risk than this play.

And the 10 and out was wide open.
He didn't look there which is why I thought the deep ball was called.

Yeah Wallace ran off the field before LSUs last play but the better part was right after Martin went down with the interception, Treadwell ran straight for the tunnel.

He and Bro are two peas in a shite pod.
