I'd say the kid from Penn State is the leader in the clubhouse IMO.

Its got to be REALLY bad for them to do this. Kid probably hasnt been to class all year and wont be able to play in the bowl.

Even Texas Tech didn't do this with Byron Hanspard, and he was flat out not going or doing anything school related(Cept football).
He had, as Dean Wormer would say, "Zero Point Zero". GPA the night he took home the award for RB.
It was a huge slap in the face of NCAA, and their "Academic" angle.

Schools on the semester system definitely have an advantage over schools on the quarter system
