I despise Ohio State. I hate them more than anyone else in the country. This topic will rustle jimmies, but you have to admit they're special.

Best team since 08 UF imo. Marshall, Thomas, Miller are all bonafide studs at WR. I'd take that WR unit over anyone else in the nation. Cardale is a beast, and the backup Barrett is too. Zeke is a top 5 RB in the country.

On D- Bosa is the best player in football. They have playmakers all over the field. Weak spots, not sure where? Maybe an individual D player but the DL, LB, DBs are all loaded units and I cant think how any could be left out of a conversation for best individual unit in the country.

I give them a 70% chance to repeat as of this moment. FML, this team is good

ETA- People will rag on the schedule, what can they do? They scheduled a quality P5 school in VT years ago. Not like they can tell how they'll be down the road. It's not their fault the B1G blows. Weak schedule doesn't take anything away from how good they are.

Alabama and LSU in 2011 were both better teams. Certainly better than this OSU team.

No, I really believe it. I've never seen defense like those two in college. Ohio State reminds me of Oklahoma of the mid 2000s. They look dominant, but they'll slip up somewhere. Don't know where, but they will.

Not offensively. Not even close.

LSU's offense didn't get past the 50 yard line in a meaningful way the entire national championship game.

Defense only gets you so far. This Ohio State team is loaded on defense as well.

Do you think that either 2011 Bama or LSU were better on offense than Ohio State 2015?

Maybe we should schedule Toledo and Jacksonville St.

This team is scary good, but I think they'll trip up somewhere on the way. Urban is much better as the underdog.

I think we have the horses to run the table when the defense struggles and the defense to shut down teams when the offense struggles (ala last Saturday).

It will take a complete meltdown on both sides of the ball to lose to an inferior opponent.

Impossible to really know, since they'll face about 3 challenges over the course of their 15 game season. Must be nice having that kind of path to the title game.

Your offense sucked that year. Great defense carried your team. Your offense since then has sucked. That is a fact.

God, no. But if OSU and 2011 Bama/LSU played each other, I would take 2011 Bama/LSU.

It's more like 90% of repeating.

Last year was the fluke - this year is real deal. It's time to start the acceptance process

LSU fans will point to the 40ish points averaged a game. They'll ignore that a lot of it was due to a great D/ST unit that shut down opponents and won field position wars, along with some big plays themselves to score/put us in position to score.

The offense wasn't terrible, it was good. It wasn't close to 2015 OSU though. Any unbiased person can see that.

I think your discounting the strength of our defense and the ability to beat a powerful defense like 2014 Alabama.

14 Bama wasn't excellent bit they had serious talent as well and Ohio State team them off the field.

I think it's too early to tell what this team is. But on paper, they are just as loaded as any team this decade.

1897 Penn. They went 15-0. Some assholes will tell you that Yale was better that year, but they couldn't put Brown away or put any points on Boston.
