Anyone who has ever spent more than an hour around a group of Ohio State fans cannot be surprised by this at all. They believe they are God's gift to college football.

OSU fans were the greatest opposing fans that i've ever been around. in 2011, after the championship in nola, they were awesome.

When I moved to the south and all I ever heard was anti-OSU shite I find it hard to believe anyone is worse than SEC fan boy who roots for a conference over a team. I say this as a LSU fan but your typical trashy SEC! chanting guy is the worst.

I spent New Years with these nerds in 2014 for the semis in New Orleans
They had plenty characters(folks wearing receiver gloves and full unis and shite) but overall their fans were a great time to be around
Can’t think of one thing to complain about and they’d just won a huge game with a huge comeback

Living in the Chicago area for a while made me shift from completely indifferent toward Ohio State to one of my least favorite fanbases. There are quite a few of them in Chicago, unfortunately, and they are all unbearable twats.

I never really had any issues with OSU fans, at least the ones who visited State College. Maryland fans and Florida fans are the most confrontational I've ever experienced and it's not close.
