A whole lot of details sound sketchy as shite:
- She's his former live-in girlfriend. But Elliot says they never lived together. Odd.
- 4 witnesses, including 1 that was physically in the car at the time of the abuse said nothing happened.
- She claims she had pain from her marks/bruises but she refused medical treatment. Why would you refuse treatment if you're cognizant enough to try to build a case?
- Her Instagram account says she was picked up and "thrown against the walls". So then did this happen in the car or not? She also says it happened for months, so she was just saving up these pics for a rainy day? She had sense enough to document these alleged bruises over time (I'm assuming since she's wearing different outfits in the pics) but not to leave him/report him?
I'm not a fan of victim blaming, but I'm also not a fan of assuming an athlete who just happened to sign a large contract is guilty when a lot of stuff doesn't add up.
