Makes you wonder who the witnesses are, to have such varying stories.
What do you mean? It says right there that all four of them, including someone sitting in her car said they didn't see an assualt happen. There is no conflicting reports if that's what the report actually says.

her instagram post says she was thrown into walls and choked, the article says the assault happened in the car? Has he assaulted her before or something?

I may have misread, but I think she mentions in her Instagram post that it had been going on for months.
ETA: Yes she mentions that it has been going on for months.

Legit question, I know the police report involves the incident that took place inside a car. All witnesses interviewed, including someone who was in said car say it didn't happen.
If someone posts pictures like this, but never filed a police report or did it weeks later, how does that work? I mean they still take the report, right? I mean why the frick would you post to Instagram talking about an incident, especially first, instead of going to the police?

Does he automatically get a 6 game suspension now?

that's a pretty good question. I'd assume they have to let the legal process play itself out, but who freaking knows.

Someone get Chris Carter on the phone, we need more commercials to stop these horrible acts.

In obvious news, Adam Schefter is reporting that Elliott denies the domestic assault accusation.
ETA: Also from ESPN: Elliott also denies that he ever lived with the women who claims to have been a live-in girlfriend of his at one time.

From an ESPN article when the new policy was announced:

A league source told ESPN's Andrew Brandt that discipline would be triggered by adjudication of a player's case, such as a conviction or plea agreement.

Yup, because it's not like Urban just this week kicked the potential starting RB off the team when he was charged with domestic assault.

Urban might be a great guy, but the track record of his players and ex-players is dubious.

Elliott denied assaulting the woman and told police that he never lived with her. Four witnesses, including one who was sitting in the car at the time of the alleged incident, also told police that they did not observe an assault, according to the report.
