really confused on how anyone would play the ND-Lville game with a solid read but whatever.
Also, it should be noted that ND fumbled twice inside the 5 yard line vs NW and missed two chip FGS. That game could have easily been a ~17 point swing.

NI didn't make it easy for us, but they got us the win

Took the under in the first half. That was some brutal football to watch.

RLM is in favor of Ohio. The line has dropped from 4 to 2.5 with 75% of bets on NI.
Thank god I'm a sensible human being who doesn't base bets on RLM.

Spend hours speculating, via limited and necessarily ambiguous and inconclusive data, about which team "all the smart people" are betting on and which team "all the people who split 5s in blackjack" are betting on so that you can bet on the "all the smart people" team and then snicker at anybody who took the other team because you just know that's the same a-hole who splits 5s while on 3rd base at the blackjack table.
Or you can research the two teams in question -- specifically focusing on metrics relevant to, and perhaps predictive of, the ability to win football games -- and make an educated decision based thereon about which one of the two is better at the game of football.

No, I'm just gonna use this thread to post about games like I've been doing. Maybe next year we can change the title to "ATS picking competition thread" or something. Or they can coexist symbiotically. Or if you wanted you could go bak and look at who I've backed in this thread, and compile it all up.
And sorry to hear you respond to my above post directly and in a defensive posture to boot. Surely you didn't think I was referencing you specifically in my allusion to the (a) mindless tripe that this thread devolves into when it turns into a "sharps" v. "squares" cliche tossing competition, and (b) the idea conceptually that it's a better to spend time inaccurately speculating about who smart people are betting on -- as a form of pseudo-tailing, essentially -- rather than handicapping the games. Surely.

Hey Chem E, on that website you linked here a few times, are the blue part of those graphs always the favorite?

Isnt it weird that the pissing matches almost always involve you?
You have the audacity to sit there and criticize of peoples bets and way of thinking without even posting your own plays here.

Pissing matches about what?
I was on NIU. And I posted about it. Read all of what I wrote above. Then read it again. And if you don't want to get into a pissing match, don't post shite like the above. I don't get involved pissing matches. I do write that "meta-analysis" of what others thing is going to happen in a game is a waste of time and energy when the alternative is actual analysis of what's going to happen in the game. Pissing matches may result if some take offense to stance, and that is weird, and unfortunate.
And I have way more audacity than that, holmes.

My record speaks for itself. I just prefer this thread without you in it, so I'm glad to call you out when it's appropriate.
