I wouldn't mind seeing Day in the running again on Sunday. Last year was so compelling with him, scott, and charl all real close.

His wife isn't half bad either

Tiger hasn't really played Augusta bad in the past few years when he was playing terrible

Tiger has played the Masters 17 times

CUT once (1996)
worst finish T41 (1995)
15 top 22 finishes
13 top 15 finishes
10 top 5 finishes

has finished 1, 3, 2, 2, 6 ,4, 4 the last 7 times.

Outside of his first two appearances, he has played very well at Augusta. So, he hasn't really played bad their in 15 years.

Crazy how consistent he has been, especially as bad as he's played for the past 2 years as a whole.

I think Tiger will be hanging around, but he's gonna have to shoot a 66,65 on one of his rounds to win.

Something about him and those greens. He just reads them very very well. Before he really got going with the 62 a few weeks ago and won two weeks ago, this was the main reason I though he had a good shot this week. He's the boss of the moss there(sorry to my buddy Loren Roberts for stealing his nickname)

Just looked at the weather report, 50% chance on Thursday and Friday in Augusta. Hopefully its an uneventful week as it pertains to the weather.

Sergio will definitely be good for an 8 or better on a few holes at Augusta.

If we are lucky Sergio might card another 12.

I'm sure he'll shoot a 29 on the front nine before opening up the back nine with a 10 on 10.

What's up guys? I just left the course...

1) it's beautiful as frick

2) kaymer skipped the water on 16 and hit a hole in one right in front of me, it was sick

ETA there were video cameras but I don't think anyone was operating them so the hole in one may not have been caught on tape

I know the try to do this every year on this hole, and someone usually gets one every year. My question is is this something they do every practice round or just a Monday/Tuesday thing? Also did they hit a few shots in addition to the skip? I'm imagining they'd like to get a few full shots into that green.

the advantage of having a golf course that no one is allowed to step on for the 6 months leading up to the masters

Handpicking your members doesn't hurt either. Heard a story last week when they were trying to make the whole "IBM CEO is a woman will Augusta offer her a membership" a bigger deal than it was. Augusta sent word to some buisnessman in South Carolina and extended a membership. He'd just have to pay a measily $200,000. He responded to them and asked if he could pay it in two installments of $100k, b/c we know only the ballers of the OT have that kind of change just laying around. He never heard back from Augusta National

I thought it was a novel idea. That way they wouldn't have to pay all the tax on 200,000 all at once.

Yea they do it every year. Go to youtube and watch some of the clips from previous years. I know I've seen the clip of Singh doing it, and saw a clip of Rickie hitting the shot last year but not getting close.

I just wondered how many shots they actually hit on that hole on a day like today. All I've ever seen of it is the youtube clips.

That is funny, I think the only response should be with the check for $200,000.00 I would sell my kidney to help raise the money.
