tiger beat rory by 2 in the rounds they were paired together. rory beat tiger by 1 for the tournament.

I thought I recalled Rory winning the heads up, but maybe it was just day 1. I do know that Rory had the 2 stroke penalty for dusting the sand in front of his ball on the fringe. I thought that kept him out of a playoff for the Tournament.

Either way, they have been paired before. I remember that the golf channel had me so excited for the start of the golf season with Tiger, Rory, and Luke Donald in the same pairing that I was tempted to wake up at 3 AM just to watch the opening rounds.

Yeah, you must have loved that Chelsea bet after they scored a goal in the 93rd minute, that I have never seen before. Ref usually blows the whistle in that case and ends the game before that goal happens. That was VERY lucky. You can do whatever you want with your money. Good luck.

I know I'm only stating the obvious, but Rory is an excellent golfer.

Does anyone have a link to how they have these holes handicapped today?

Nope, overrated. He only dusted the field at the US Open because of the soggy conditions.

I don't think anyone said that was the only reason he dusted the field. He was playing out of his mind. The conditions were very soft for a US Open though.

Before I get accused of being on Tiger's jock....Rory is the clear cut #1 right now!

Just checked the scores...what happened to Sergio! Gees, he wins one tournament and you would think he would be satisfied

I can admit that the conditions played part in his reaching -18, or whatever he got to, but I started predicting double digit majors for him back then and was generally laughed at by everyone. I'm not predicting him to pass Tiger, but I would not be shocked to see him pass most of the All-Time greats in major victories. Maybe 8 to 10 total majors.

Oh, he's definitely getting to 8-10 majors. I remember a couple of years ago when Fowler was just getting on tour. McIlroy, Fowler, and Ishikawa were being tabbed as the young guns. I knew Rory was head and shoulders above those 2.

Fowler

I really like Fowler, but right now his image overshadows his game. It was good to see him get that win (in a playoff over Rory and someone else) earlier this year. I'm disappointed that he started missing cuts the last two months, and it may keep him off of the Ryder Cup team.

I like Fowler, but his swing doesn't look like it can consistently hold up under pressure.
