When you say extra strength, did you mean even strength? Not trying to be a smart arse, I really didn't understand.

I might have to use that sometime.

So, Jeff Carter can't hit a wide open net, and just like that, my Flyers are down 2-0 in the series.

Misery loves company. Caps down 2-0 now. I have faith though that they can bring it back to Verizon 2-2.

Yeah, I'm trying to keep the faith. I'm hoping that when they go back to Pittsburgh, the series will be tied. Philly just needs a decent goaltender. I wish we could clone Hextall. At least when he had a bad game he usually got in a fight or scored a goal. At the very least, he was always entertaining.

If the Habs don't win tonight it is on them.

I really don't think we compare to any other team in the playoffs. We have no heart.

Other than homers saying the Canadiens will win the series (prior to game 1), the Canadiens played them evenly but got cheated on calls (post-game 1) and they'll show up that the loss was a fluke, Price sucks, Markov's return will help them, Kovalev needs to do more, Gorges needs to stop playing dumb and we'll take it back to Montreal to even the series (post game-2).... this is not even close to last year's Montreal team.

Varlamov is the future and did the job yesterday, the offense just couldn't find the net. Theodore blows.

Well, the Flyers were able to win one at home. Hopefully we will return to the Pitts with the series tied up.

32-17 is pretty good, and a .917 career NHL save percentage not good enough for you?

Good luck with either a rookie in his second playoff game in the garden.

Think your guys can find some offense tonight? I'm getting sick of watching the caps look for a triple-covered Ovechkin and not being able to complete the pass (save your Jarrett Lee comments).

Ovechkin is such a fricking punk. I can't believe he tried to crash the Rangers' practice this morning and then said "they're afraid of me" when they asked him about getting thrown out. I hate the way he acts after every play. If he's such a big boy he'd back up his trash talk with some hard knuckles but we all know he's too much of a pussy to actually back it up.

Even if he did somehow manage to lead the Caps to the second round, he wouldn't do shite anyway. He has a 3.57 GAA in the second round. He blows, his confidence is shot. He was one of the worst starting goaltenders THIS season, regardless of his record. Check out his save percentage.

Ovechkin is a punk? He was joking around and is trying to play mind games and get the Caps back in this thing, and I hope they come out firing on all cylinders. 3-0-1 in the regular season, got to get back to what worked. Need to start crashing the net too.

Guys I watch hockey here and there...always keep up with playoff hockey so i'm descent remembering some games and such...has their ever been a team that just seems to waste talent like San Jose on a routine basis.

When the playoffs were set a ton of people picked the 8 seed in that draw because...well the 1 was San Jose

That shite doesn't worry me and I doubt it bothers Varlamov. He was 4-0-1 in his first 5 games before the loss Saturday. His first career start was in Montreal, which is a crowd similar to MSG's, if not more rabid. He led his RSL(arguably the second best league in the world) team to the finals with a 1.63 GAA facing 30-40 shots a game. He hasn't caved under pressure yet and I don't expect him to now.

Tanguay, Schneider, and Sergei Kostitsyn out for the Habs.

O'Byrne, D'Agostini, and Weber in.

Price stays in net.

Oh my....gonna be 3-0.

Caps may be my second favorite team behind the Jackets. I love Ovechkin.
