Added Clemson. Couldn't resist the value after the steam today.

Final non-playoff card:
Clemson +6.5 W
Ole Miss +3.5
Mississippi State -7

Also leaning Oregon. Don't want either side of Bama OSU.

Here are the standing in my Stupid Underdog league:

1. 92.5
2. 89
3. 86
t4. 83.5
t4. 83.5
6. 81.5
7 (me). 80
8. 78.5
9. 74.5
10. 70.5
11-195. out of it at this point

The deal is we get three picks for the bowl season. You can't see anybody else's picks, though.

Right now I'm going with
Louisville for 7 points
FSU for 9.5 points
Maryland for 14 points

Here is what I'm wrestling with: do I ditch Maryland and go with another game in the 7 point range that is more likely to hit, or do I stick with Maryland and hope for the greater reward?

If I were to ditch Maryland, I would probably go with GT or LSU in their place. Prolly GT.

7 spots are getting paid out this year, but with first place getting the lion's share of the pot, which, with nearly 200 people in the league, is not insubstantial. I won the league outright last year and it paid me over 3K. The league has more people this year than last. I would love to win again this year, and though it isn't likely, it also isn't outside the realm of possibility.

What do y'all think about my Maryland conundrum?

ETA: if I ditch Maryland, I actually think I might go with ECU. Or perhaps even ditch Louisville for ECU now, and then make my decision come down to either Louisville or Maryland.

I like Maryland. A lot. Amazing value on B1G this bowl season due to public perception.

On ND +7.5, ville +7, MD +14 plus a parlay of them. Let's keep the underdog pain train rolling.

What's good for me is that while underdogs have been covering, no significant underdogs (which I'll define as a TD or greater) have won outright. So hopefully some of the people in front of me have already struck out on UTEP, Northern Illinois, Illinois, Duke, Braskypants, or Texas.

And hopefully none of them took Clemson, which was at -6.5 at kickoff. I'm not thinking it's likely that anybody took Clemson, though. It was at -4.5 this morning, which just enough points to entice anybody but maybe the outright leader in the league.

But do you just like them ATS, or do you think they have a decent chance of winning outright?

What are the LSU fans thinking about your matchup with ND today, I like the SEC to continue its streak.

As for the UGA game, my brain is telling me not to touch this one, our OC who led us to a record breaking season is gone as well as the OL coach and we're going up against one of the better defenses on paper anyway, plus we've lost 4 of the last 5 bowl games I believe under Richt. That being said the players will come out with a little edge as we are facing our old DC so that will play a role.

No idea about Maryland vs Stanford, haven't watched either team play this year.

After reading about the Maryland vs Stanford game, found out that it's being played 11 miles from Stanford campus, interesting.
