I have access to PhillyGodfathers plays and was just thinking of tailing him as it lvas he does pretty good as well

You tail and m in FB? I always wondered if he really was any good he sure does like to talk himself up on twitter.

I think most of us go off of what we know, the same principals can be used in all sports as far as betting on teams when their perceived value is low, and fading when their value is low. Only reason I took the Lakers tonight.

If you don't have experience betting basketball temper your expectations. It's absolutely not the same as football. A lot of games will be won or lost on garbage time baskets or a team fouling at the end of a game, just understand it is part of it. It's a long season and those breaks generally even out over the course of a season.

Personally Basketball was the sport that really started my obsession with numbers and the advanced statistics part of the sport. I thoroughly enjoy breaking down the game of basketball and I've gotten decent at it. My college basketball run I had last year was years worth of work and research that finally came together. I was over 60 percent for a two month period and it was an awesome wave that a lot of people on here rode with me. I can't wait to start that back up but it will realistically be the end of November before I have enough data to start feeling that confident again.

I think tailing people is good as long as they are reputable and you know people that will voucb for their success. It takes a lot of time and dedication to ssuccessfully profit in any sport over time, and that is essentially what most of them do for a living.

I will never just blindly tail some guy I dont know with games. The fun in it is knowing that you looked at a game and guessed what would happen correctly

No I make my own picks in football as you know. A buddy of mine just gave me his log in info so I can start looking. Last week he was 8-3 in college football and had a 3 team parlay in NFL and only lost the redskins.

In no means will I start trying to pick NBA and NHL just may tail him. He seems to be doing pretty well. His record shows he is best at CBB

Yes in football I agree. But in NBA and NHL that I know absolutely nothing about? If I can tail someone and make some cash for the upcoming football season why not?

I'm going to do with the btb and see how it goes. I'm viewing it as an investment more than anything else, I can atleast gain knowledge of how a group of successful bettors approach betting on various sports and learn from them. I agree the fun for me is trying to solve the impossible math problem that is sports betting. But that doesn't mean that I will stop trying to handicap games on my own.

I might bet Cincy just because I did well tonight. I'd only play that game because it's on Wednesday.

No freaking way I'm betting on Memphis is why I'd take Cincy.

5-0 start to the NBA season.

Heat O96.5 W
Heat -5 W
Magic/Pacers U94.5 1H W
Magic/Pacers U188.5 W
Magic +12 W

5-1 on the day. I lost a small wager NHL parlay.

Well.. I actually ended up going 7-0 today to start the NBA season.

I added

LAL O49.5 2H (+103) W and LAL live line O99.5 W because I was feeling it.

7-0 NBA/7-1 total on the day.

Yeah i hit the 2H Over 103 that I had no business winning. Thought for sure I would need late free throws for a chance after the third quarter.... Until the Lakers decided to put up 40 in the fourth.

I want to keep NBA bets really small until I get a good feel for the volatility of it.

Pretty much.. College football is the sport I know the most about so I play more for it.

The NBA is too crazy. I'm betting it more to keep me entertained until the weekend than to win a lot of money.
