Well the division races have been a total bust, but there are still 7 teams fighting for two wild cards spots.

AL
Blue Jays -| 3 @Bos
Orioles -| 3 @NYY
Detroit 1.5| 3 @Atl
Seattle 2| 3 Oak

NL
Mets +1| 3 @Phi
Giants -| 3 LAD
Cardinals 1| 3 Pit

at the possibility of a 86-win Giants or Cardinals team making the playoffs as the second WC.

Bought Orioles wild card game tickets today if it's at Camden Yards.

Here's hoping!

O's have been working hard on this choke. The four game home sweep at the hands of the Red Sox should have doomed them, but they still somehow hold the last spot.

The NL wildcard teams suck. The AL teams are pretty legit though.

Don't know why someone decided to put signage behind the wall at Busch Stadium when it was built, but this team needs all the breaks it can get right now.

Could there be some playoff deal involving the potential wildcard teams just to qualify for the wildcard game? That would be ridiculous, especially if Detroit and Cleveland have to play a regular season game on Monday.

Do challenges carry over to the next game? What's the downside to just automatically calling for a review on a walk off?

Nothing, but this instantaneous rule is vague and silly.
