im trying to figure out the next move after we dump okafor, but i just cant see it. we'd be playing hilton and marks at the center spot.
id assume they would try to dump West off, but after that this team is done for years. no legit forwards AT ALL, and no center at all. man at this point i just dont know where we go next

Giving Okafor away makes no sense, imo.
We give him away and pray that we can sign someone of his calliber, for the same amount of money, 2 years from now.

even with a top 5 pick, we only get 1 player with no garuntee that he will be any good. dropping West and Omeka and not resigning hilton = replacing a hell of a lot of front court depth.
we really need to *coughkillcough* Peja before we have any chance of rebuilding

We need to establish the fact that we will suck this season and probably the next. Think about the future because that is all we have.

they're trading away their best assets for cap flexibility and youth. a good idea but let's see how they execute upon it. aquiring only thomas' contrac for a player of Okafor's caliber is a major fail. and if west keeps up his lack of production we won't be getting much return there, either.
