i'd get rid of colston or marshall before jennings!

Colston got hurt week 1 which means he has 7 points for the year which means he has ZERO trade value in my league. The points have to be close, eventhough he's a top tier guy. I see Jennings falling off of his current streak, especially if Rodgers gets banged up. Meanwhile I get a 2nd RB which I do not have since Selvin Young BLOWS. Basically, I'll score more points with MJD and Colston than with Young and Jennings.

I'm wanting to package something for a better no. 3 RB for LT and Barber's bye weeks coming up. Any ideas/targets?
My suggestion would be to trade Edwards and Young. Off the top of my head, I'm thinking something like that in exchange for Thomas Jones or Edgerrin James and Lee Evans or T.J. Houshmandzadeh.

Yeah he did, but get this. I am 2-4 in my league the last 3 losses have been by 1 point, 3, points, and 4 points. All of these losses Edwards didn't do crap. Now last night I am down by 73 points, and what happens he Has 154 yards and a TD Anyway, glad he has come around

Ok, how about this one:
I get L. White, M. Pittman & M. Colston for
M. Lynch & E. Manning

My others are:
QB's
Rivers & Warner (so I don't mind giving up Eli so much)

RB's
R. Bush
F. Jones (hurt)
D. McAllister
T. Hightower

WR's
L. Evans
R. Moss
TJ Housh
L. Moore

I was thinking of countering with Manning, Jones & Moss (I rarely use Manning & Jones). What do y'all think?

EDIT: He has no back up for Romo which is why he needs a QB
EDIT Again - He just added Pittman to the mix

Typical Braylon Edwards season trying to figure out which game will be his break out game is like trying to figure out who Brees will like this week

Probably not much on the waiver wire right now. What's the prognosis on Selvin Young? The longer he's out, the better Pittman will do.

Just offered a guy who has Romo as his QB with Croyle as his backup. I offered him Eli Manning and Jonathan Stewart(we get return points) for Greg Jennings and Addai. My 2 guys are averaging 50.49 points a game and his 2 40.72 points a game. My other QB is Mcnabb. Think he bites?

I would certainly give it some thought.

You can afford to part with Eli, but I wouldn't give up Lynch. Guy is a beast. Also, he's already had his bye. Hold onto Lynch and suggest Coltson for Eli. However, realize going into it that Colston my not have the pro bowl year we've been expecting.

Maybe. Depends on who else he has at WR. But Romo is not out forever and the team in our league who has Romo just put in for Johnson.

My point is that this may be too high a price for him.

Thoughts on my issues this week? I need a fill in for MJD.

I have Ricky Williams at home v. Baltimore (FYI the Cobbs guy was a RB) and Maurice Morris traveling across the country to play Tampa Bay although the game is Sunday night, but he has Frey under center. Possible acquisitions are:

Sammy Morris or Kevin Faulk of NE who play at home Monday night v. Denver.

Also available is Melwelde Moore at Cincinnati and Parker is on the early list as questionable.

Lastly, Ahman Green is at home v. Detroit. You know they're going to run and you know Slaton won't get all the love.

I have plenty of room on the roster to pick up a player or two. By the way, Hester is still out there and the Bears have Detroit in week 9, which was why I acquired Orton in the first place. I may need another WR in week 9, so give me your thoughts about having the Orton/Hester hook up in Week 9 also.

Yeah, Lynch is definitely the deal-breaker. I countered with Eli and Lynch for B Jacobs and Colston, then I can use my other WR's to get another RB. So,basically I am getting a solid RB and a WR with a lot of proven potential for a nice RB and a bench QB. What do you think? He hasn't written back yet.

I am also in the process of getting Thomas Jones for Moss and Fasano or Steven Jackson for Housh.

I like Morris in this one. He has been getting a lot of touches lately.

From ESPN:
Coach Mike Tomlin said that Parker (knee) practiced on Monday and will return to the lineup in Week 7.
Not sure if I would mess with Moore, but you never know with these injury reports

I would still be weary of Slaton getting the goal line carries

I picked up Hester for that reason

I think it sounds like you're going to have a whole new team. Maybe you should try drafting the guys you want instead of trying to trade for them. As for the Lynch for Jacobs, I think it's fine. Is Bush not doing enough for you that you need Jones?

True, but this was a last-minute autodraft league and I did not have time to set my players.

I actually killed that one and got T. Jones for Warner straight up

Well, basically I have (had) 3 decent QB's and have only been able to start Bush and Lynch and having to use a WR @ flex (which I don't like), so I was going to get rid of one of the QB's for another solid RB to start. Looks like it is going to work out well

Thanks for your insight

Read an article before the season that said to draft Lynch then deal him around week 8. The first 8 weeks he was supposed to have the most ridiculously easy schedule, then a very hard schedule the last 8 weeks.
