My first year doing fantasy football.... doing CBSsportsline's college football fantasy. Here's my roster for week 1 ... Thoughts?

Tigers
Player Opp.
STARTING LINEUP

Bradford, Sam QB OK TNCHAT
Dwyer, Jonathan RB GATECH JAXST
Scott, Charles RB LSU APLST
Lewis, Detron WR TXTECH EWA
Lyons, Dicky WR KY @LOU
Maclin, Jeremy WR MO IL
Hill, Anthony TE NCST @SC
David, Colt K LSU APLST
Oklahoma DST TNCHAT

RESERVES
Carpenter, Rudy QB AZST NAZ
Williams, Keiland RB LSU APLST
Williams, Mike WR SYR @NW
Adams, Kyle TE PUR BYE
LSU DST APLST

figured LSU's D would give up more offense to Appy State than Oklahoma's D will to Tenn Chatanooga. Also given all the chatter of KW vs CS, I figure CS will get most of the load at RB for LSU at least in week1.

Thoughts on Sam Bradford vs Rudy Carpenter in Week1? I think Carpenter is poised to have a big year in 2008.

Should've drafted Michael Desormeaux and Tyrell Fenroy

Yes, only the six BCS conferences and Independents were used in our league's player pool.

What starting running backs are available? I wouldn't recommend getting one of LSUs because they will be splitting too much time

Fenroy would probably be a good pick up in big leagues

I just dropped KW and added Keegan Herring from Arizona State. I want to keep Scott on my team for now. I've just got a feeling he's going to get the bulk of the LSU RB load in a couple games this year. I won't start him every week, but want him on my roster.

I like it for the most part.. I would probably cut Reggie Williams and pick up someone like Jabar Gaffney

Here's my team so far after just completing a 13 round draft. This is a 12 team league. Start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 RB/WR, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 Defense.

QBs:
Derek Anderson
JaMarcus Russell

HBs:
Adrian Peterson
Selvin Young
Kevin Jones

WRs:
TJ Houshmandzadeh
Dwayne Bowe
Donald Driver
David Patten
DeSean Jackson

TE:
Antonio Gates

K:
Nate Kaeding

Defense:
Pittsburgh

First time playing Fantasy Football for me, so I won't be offended if you let me know my team sucks.

I didn't like picking Anderson, but the top 5 or 6 QBs were taken already when I picked in Round 2.

I got Driver in the 9th or so, I think that was a steal. Jackson I picked up with my last pick in the 13th round. I think he'll be a decent receiver and may turn out to be a great returner, so I figured he was worth the risk.
